Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting started with RxRecon Pro, from data imports to security and billing.

What pharmacy management system do you support? +
RxRecon Pro accepts standard CSV, XLS, XLSX, TXT, and TSV exports from pharmacy management systems. Because we parse raw data exports rather than requiring API integrations, setup is quick and requires no IT department involvement.
How does the wholesaler reconciliation work? +
RxRecon ingests your dispensing report (quantity dispensed) and your wholesaler invoice files (quantity purchased), then normalizes NDCs, strips salt-form variations, and reconciles at the active-ingredient level using package-size mathematics. You see exactly how many bottles you purchased versus how many you dispensed, with automatic flagging of purchase-only and dispensed-only items.
Is my pharmacy data secure? +
Supported reports are parsed in your browser. An allowlisted analytical projection, designed to exclude direct patient and prescriber identifiers, is sent to protected compute; unexpected fields and raw-file payloads are rejected. Free-text checks cannot guarantee detection of every identifier. Access is restricted by authenticated account and organization controls. See the Privacy Notice for service-provider disclosures and evaluation restrictions.
Do I need to install anything? +
No installation required. RxRecon Pro is a web-based SaaS application that runs in any modern browser. Log in and upload a dispensing report; add a wholesaler purchase report when you need purchasing, cost, exact-NDC, or monthly-ordering analysis. The proprietary reconciliation engine runs server-side — never exposed to the client — while access is protected with encrypted sessions and secure authentication.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime? +
Yes. There are no long-term contracts, setup fees, or cancellation penalties. Email ADMIN@RXRECONPRO.COM before your next renewal to cancel; access continues through the end of the paid billing period.
How does the Founding Pharmacy Offer work? +
The first 50 approved pharmacy locations can subscribe for $49 per month. That founding rate continues while the subscription remains active. After the founding cohort closes, new subscriptions will use the then-current price; existing active founding subscriptions will not automatically move to the new-customer rate. Every subscription covers one approved pharmacy location and one named administrator.
How many reconciliation runs are included? +
Each subscription includes up to 50 protected reconciliation runs per month. All reporting modules are included. Raw dispensing and wholesaler files remain in your browser; only the allowlisted analytical projection is sent to protected compute.
How can an approved pharmacy pay? +
Approved pharmacies can pay by supported credit or debit card through Stripe-hosted checkout. RxRecon Pro does not collect or store complete card numbers. Use the same business email as the approved access request and do not enter patient, prescription, prescriber, or pharmacy-report information in billing fields.
What reports are included in my subscription? +
Every subscription includes all ten reporting modules: Overview, Insurance & BIN, Patient 360°, Medication 360°, Wholesaler Reconciliation, Controlled Substance Inventory, Pickup / Delivery Audit, Reimbursement, NDC Match Audit, and Monthly Ordering. There are no tiered plans or gated features.
How do I export reports? +
Use Download CSV for a focused table or Download Excel Report for the multi-sheet workbook. Exports are generated in your browser and may contain sensitive patient- or prescription-level details, so use pharmacy-approved storage and transmission procedures.
Can I use RxRecon Pro for multiple pharmacy locations? +
Each RxRecon Pro subscription is tied to one physical pharmacy location and one named pharmacy administrator. Credentials may not be shared. Each additional location or administrator requires separate approval to preserve pharmacy isolation, data integrity, and accurate per-pharmacy reporting.
What happens if I need help importing my data? +
